Frameless Motors
Frameless motors consist of a wound stator and a separate permanent-magnet rotor. They do not include the additional components that are part of a traditional housed servo motor — the motor housing, endbells. bearings, output shaft, cable connectors, feedback device or brake.
By eliminating the need to design your application to accommodate the extra components of a traditional housed servo motor, frameless motors enable you to engineer the most compact and lightest possible motion application.
